Winn Bray-Rathbun is a Canadian playwright and author residing in Calgary, Alberta. With over 17 of her plays and musicals produced on Canadian stages, Winn has established herself as a prominent figure in the realm of Canadian literature and performing arts. Her latest memoir, Stone Cold Tea, explores the profound and personal experiences of growing up in a small town in Ontario, and the trials of dealing with a family challenged by the early death of a father and the slow loss of a mother through Alzheimer's disease.

Winn has been a professional playwright for more than three decades and maintains a strong commitment to quality work for all audiences - in particular, Historical Drama and Theatre in Education. Focusing on bringing history to life she has had more than seventeen works produced including Journey of a Lifetime, The Remittance Man, Alberta Rose, Nobody's Children, Ranchers and Rails, Betty Byliorski Finds A Home, and That Men May Fly. All of these works are dramatizations derived from actual historical accounts, narratives and personal experiences which take unique pieces of Canadian history from page to stage.

A recipient of the Excellence in the Arts Award (Hamilton Wentworth Creative Arts), Winn's work has been supported by the Ontario Arts Council, Carousel Players (St. Catharines), Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Heritage Park and BMO Financial Group, Quest Theatre, Lunchbox Theatre, Mount Royal College, Alberta Playwrights' Network, DuFort Enterprises, Theatre South NSW, the Citadel New Play Development Program, and the private sector.
